I'm sorry, but not everyone likes anime. If I made a website for kid cartoons and put hot chicks on the background and icons, it wouldn't suit the theme of the website. Then again, that's an exaggerated reason. I'm just saying, that just because the owner likes anime, it doesn't mean the theme should be anime-based. But anyways, the bacground and icons can still be changed so something better, anime or not.

Yes I know, when we made this forum there was like 3-4 people played the game so it wasn't much of a problem. We do have more members now so I can see it as a pretty good reason for a refresh.

Didn't really change much.
The new interface is better, but not as much as I'd hope for.

It looks... a lot better then before, but there's still room for tremendous improvements.

I think its grand atm, sure it could be more gunz related. But honestly if it does the job and looks clean i'm happy with it.
