i was bored so i decided i was guna screw around with gunz sfx
i decided to change the explosions of a nade to eyeballs
anyway i messed up a bit and one eyeball always came out with a box around it
not sure why tho... heres a screenie

The alpha layer.
Check your channels.


There should be a layer named "Alpha 1".
On this layer, it should match the overall image you used for the dds(it is dds for nade efx, rite?)
But, it has to be in black and white.

White -> Whatever you want to show.
Black -> Shows nothing in game.
Gray -> Transparent.


If there is no alpha layer, MAKE ONE.

Sorry, the gray is supposed to say "semi-transparent".
Mis-use of definition.

The first time I edited mrs, it was sfx.mrs
I spent 12 hours making up an anime-style sfx.
After all that.
I tested it. OH GOD IT HAS BLACK BG BEHIND IT.
I ran around asking for help for abt an hour.
Finally some guy told me, "check your alpha layer, dds suppose to use em".
And I table-palmed and corrected everything for the next 3 hours.


Ofc I have to help people doing this.
