[Project] MapleStory P Server

This is my little project that im working on to piss off nexon again x]

Progression - [|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||] - 95% Done

Setup Client - Done
Execute all SQLs - Done
Get server to load up - Done
Fixed server's java files - Done
Compile with Netbeans - Done
Make a registration site - Done
Create first account - Done
Create First Character - Done
Get some ppl to play - FAIL

its not ganna be a serious server... its only ganna be a fun server where when ppl r bored they can play it... i wont even be on most of the time unless im bored and if im not on that means they cant play either so shush and stop trying to make ppl depressed with ur posts

Are you gonna host it on your pc? Or buy a vps? Cause if your just hosting it for causal use you shouldn't be paying for it

So long as your members don't attempt to threaten their server popularity, yeah.
But bankai has a large variety of hackers. Most of them talk like normal players.
They're also among the server's richest ingamers or etc.
I know there are at least 3, one is/was a gm.

Bankai isn't a cruel overlord, but they tend to get carried away.
I quit that serv while I was still mapling becuz of their owner, alex.
That dude, is a whining crybaby.
He has incredibly effective and love-able/sociable GM's on his side, though.
Annah, Biesmen(skilled coder), Candyman(a troll forum mod, more self-controlled, and logical than I am), Saintz, probably the most efficient GM he has, Be3zy, his Head GM, lover, and also one of the most PERFECTLY sociable people.

Don't take them too lightly.
In most of these cases, I'm on bad terms with candyman, having got into a childish fight over a slight misunderstanding on my part. (This was before I learned my logical self-control).
I'm still friends with biesmen and annah, as both are easy to get to know. Be3zy has issues against me, she holds grudges and probably still considers me an uncontrollable kid.
(yes, she's actually abt 20+, and like a mother, but she has a very self-indicated thinking style)



That's the most info I can give you on bankai, I don't go back to their forums anymore.
I requested to be banned off the forums, so I wouldn't re-visit my old contacts there.
There were other skilled GM's he had there too, but most left, quit, or were fired under the owner's childish assumptions or consideration.

I guess they can be a mixed bag, they can be nice but also have a dark side to them. It happens a lot so it's no surprise
