I can do neither. Anima always escapes me being lb or red all the time.
I never fought sungoon, but I heard he's fast enough to be good.

ugh, how much does a set give? it's stats, no rings and other things that gives additional stats?

We don't want clothes to give stats because then it would mean that people would just wear the ugly clothes to get the best stats, the rings mean that everyone has the same stats (depending on weight) making it more fun and you get to be more creative with clothes (even though I aint )

Overall hp/ap that u can get is lower than most for the reason that it makes gameplay alot faster, which I think is a hell of alot more fun, especially vs lag I hate battles that take AGES and AGES!

Also pinkdrops are you just annoyed that shotguns aren't completely overpowered compared to everything else? o.O

You can check the damage of the shotguns its not as if their like 2 damage or something, a shotgun is what it is a "shotgun" which is a short range weapon meaning it shouldn't deal super high damage at mid/long range. When it does it removes the point of every other weapon in the game.

If I could scrape even half of a mediocre sword damage in mid range, it'd be ijji level, at least.
But this is somewhat ridiculous.

We'll maybe your used to the more overpowered servers in terms of weapon damage, but here we've aimed for more balance meaning every weapon is useful and shotguns aren't termed as sniper shotguns instead =]

I've been on gunz for more or less...6 years, has it been? If you count me quitting halfway through, it'd prob be 3-4 years. But I started on kgunz beta. I moved to igunz. Then ijji. After the hacking got to me, I moved to private servers, and kept hopping across as the server ran out of fun or idiots to tease to relieve my stress online.

I know the term for overpowered. It may not be as accurate as those idiots who google for OTHER user-given answers, but here it is.
But there's also a term for a weapon being too weak.

Overpowered, is when the opponent, apparently, needs only 2-3 bullets to eliminate you using a HANDGUN.
Like here, when I came on and played that 3v3/2v2.

Fixated damage, is when both sides have a near-identical damage-to-hp range that gives them both an equal chance, depending on skill and/or timing.

Weak, is when the damage from a near-close range doesn't even scratch the opponent.
Regardless of how identical their armor was, the damage difference was large enough to mean a lot.
Hence, OP, in a different sense.

CG is said to be overpowered, but thats not true. In most cases, only the donar armor itself is OP.
Normally, even normal eq give you the hp+ap to stand up to 10 dmg shotties.
And the other way too. Weaker guns need a few more shots, but can still kill the normal eq as easily.
CG is reliant on SKILL. Outside of rocket spammers. Regardless, rocket spammers are powerful, always.

This server is overpowered.
You just don't look at it the logical way.

It takes the shotguns I was using before have 2 pbs to kill (that's with rs) which is a 9 and 10 damage with I would say about 60-80% of the spread hitting. Now if you think that is underpowered then I'm a little confused tbh.

The handguns are stronger yes but the higher the ping the less effective they are which is why shotguns are still the main weapon of choice on this server because they are the easiest weapon to lead with in the game. I am also rather confused as to why you are the only one that thinks that the server is completely (to a huge ridiculous extent from what I can read from your posts) unbalanced.

I too have played gunz for a long time (I started in the first year of igunz)so I understand what a balanced and unbalanced weapon is which is why our shotguns aren't really strong like other servers (13 damage shotguns anyone?) because it means that every single game is filled with shotgun spammers and nothing more, no creativity and no difference...shotgun spam or lose is the name of the game mainly. Though as you can see on our server the majority still shotgun spam regardless of our balance and your apparent fact of "unbalance". You would think that if it was so underpowered people would switch to the "overpowered" pistols don't you think?

Now if you could be bothered reading all that well done cause I sure wouldn't have been bothered lol

Then in relation, it takes 9 mid ranges to kill as well.
But its not that real is it? No, no.
Yes it takes 2 pb's to kill.
But its worse if it only takes a handgun that can be spammed 2-3 shots to kill too.
Thats overpowered.
2 pb's to kill is pretty fixed. But it does not add up when the "less efficient" guns kill 8 times faster and cause more damage than the pb's. That's overpowered.


As to calling shotguns the main weapon, they always have been, but not for all.
(how do you even know this? considering the number of people on the server)
The handguns I was fired with toasted 90% of my hp in 2 shots.
The shotguns didn't hit so much. On me, at any rate.

The revs might be overpowered but revs always have been in the right hands, but I'll look into their damage if you want.

*edit* Just looked at the damage, max for revs are 55 which is lower than most pservers and max for pistols 30. Yes we have lower hp/ap than most servers but we are going to be adding higher rings now that we've fixed the client to allow for it. So what is yar problem o.O

I can hit targets of maximum 400 ping with an smg and within a pretty large range, roughly the length of one of the mansion hallways(not corridors, hallways).
I have never hoped to hit using my ping.
My name in CG was from lead, not aim.
I had no one to aim at.
But here, lets pretend lead exists to everyone.
I've been using it long enough, so let's just say I HAVE some amount of lead, rather than call me good at it.
I will only say it after I have proven it.
I once recorded my lead on a gzf, but it was for the CG client, so it would look weird here.


Revs are balanced, because of the limited amount of attack speed they are given, and the time it takes to switch back and forth during rhs/rs. Same reasoning for shotguns.


But handguns that do more than the shotguns defile the entire point.
Handguns have speed, high accuracy(yes it's high), but were meant to have incredibly low damage.
But in this case, the higher pier handguns are too powerful.

We made handguns more powerful for the one reason that they were useless, no one ever used them before EVER on any other server, we also made them very accurate yes.

SMG's are being balanced in next patch which is ether out today or tomorrow.

They were not useless.
They were the standing point between revolvers and rifles.

Accuracy.
Quick Firing.
Higher ammo.

But to balance these out, they removed one of the most vital pieces, the extreme damage.

Don't underestimate handguns.

Honestly in my whole time playing gunz I think I've only every seen 1 or 2 people using handguns seriously and they never got very far with them. Their just too weak, too slow, same accuracy as rifles (I think) and ammo is too low. That's why we attempted to balance, but if you are SO sure that its unbalanced now I shall look into it. Honestly you should just stop complaining, come in game and own with them if you think their overpowered

I think the higher pier ones are, but all the lower pier weapons can't even do anything much, so leave it there.
Normally, when you hear complaints, you come up with solutions, not excuses.

You don't see people with handguns, because there are better choices.
Don't assume it does not go far.

Ammo is too low? If you had say, 10 shots per clip, it would kill 3 people?
That's by far incredibly deadly already.
But normally it has about 20 or more, correct? But the damage was lower.


This will be my last post tonight. If you refuse to see obvious logic, and give me your excuses, that's fine, I will drop it. Trying to force logic to less obvious people has no real use but to fuel wars.
I can not point out the issue you have with pier ranks, but you should know by now.

I come up with solutions when there's more than one compliant, when its something like this it requires a larger voice than one. You are the one that appears to be making excuses as you wont prove your points in game where it counts. You seem to be thinking that their overpowered but can't prove it yourself because you believe that the lower level weapons are underpowered.

If more complain sure I'll look into it in more detail, but one persons from what I can see "QQ" (god I hate that saying but it just works here xD) wont really make me do very much about it, especially when everyone else seems happy with it.

You also gotta remember we're a new server there's always balancing issues at the start, I think the current client only our 2nd release (as in first patch) so we still got to work everything out atm.

I gave you my opinions on your mis-guided point of "Overpowered".
You chose to deny them.
I returned with different points.
You returned the exact same denial in a different form.
I came back one more time with the same point as previously stated.
You returned, the same denial, but with a different way of proving it.

Yet you missed as I went on about piers.
(Just to be perfectly clear, you do know what piers is?)
It has a generally same meaning as "tiers", and probably is just a user-created word from the word tiers, but it makes no difference.
